OPC A&E Optimizer

The OPC A&E Optimizer improves performance of certain OPC "Classic" Alarms&Events operations. It is implemented as configurable plug-in on each EasyAEClient object instance. The plug-in is included and enabled by default, so that you do not have write any additional code in order to make use of its functionality.

OPC Data Client also performs various optimizations on the lower level of OPC communication. The extension described here operates on higher level and only provides a specific supplementary optimization.

Currently, the OPC A&E Optimizer plug-in performs one optimization: The server database optimization, which is equivalent in function to what the server database optimization does in OPC DA Optimizer.
